Can anyone tell me how binding this is/ how shafted I am? There's no way I could put up with this job for another 12 months, I've only been there just over a year as it is (13 months)! If I got a new job I'd be happy to negotiate a sensible period, but if they won't accept it, do I have any options?
From what I can find on directgov/ ACAS the minimum legal requirement is a week, so surely 12 months for your average technician's contract is taking the piss? Or is it likely to be some kind of loophole to screw me over if I try to leave?

I initially took a job at this company as a "technician" (as stated on my contract). But since then they've totally changed my duties, giving me the role of a manager, but I have no updated contract, pay etc. I hate the new work, I'm now getting sent away regularly, working ridiculous hours (with no overtime pay), the "bonus" never materialised, we even lost out on buying a house as they failed to give me a P60 last year which screwed up my mortgage application. I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey and Marco Pierre White and while good, the experience is not a patch on what Heston provides.

Started off with Blue Dragon Gob Stoppers..... a Liquiid Nitrogen frozen sorbe infused with Soy Sauce - an amzing start...breathing blue steam that smells of chines cooking

Much of the food is in describale... it is so surprising and gives you so many experiences..... all I can say is you have to go. I can not put into words how good it is!
